Mr. Katz was born in Queens New York and raised on a farm in Upstate New York, living in the Catskills mountains one mile from the site of the 1969 Woodstock Concert. He is a four sport athlete, actor, singer, writer, musician, and avid gamer.

卡茨先生出生在纽约皇后区，从小在纽约州北部的一个农场长大，距离1969年伍德斯托克音乐会一英里的地方。卡茨先生爱好广泛，是优秀的运动员、演员、歌手、作家、音乐家以及狂热的玩家。

He earned his BA in Political Science and History from the University of Arizona, and his Master's Degree at Northern Arizona University, completing it in just four terms while working full time in a classroom as a teacher in Arizona. He is a certified teacher as well.

He moved to Asia in 2007, living in Suji, a suburb of Seoul, teaching Literature and Poetry. He moved to China in 2008 and has lived in Shijiazhuang, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Shanghai. He has taught AP World History, AP United States History, and AP European History, as well as KS-3, IGCSE, and A-Level history and geography. Except for a year as the Head of Humanities in Malaysia (2014-2015), Mr. Katz has lived in China non-stop since 2008.

卡茨先生于2007年移居亚洲，在韩国龙仁教授文学与诗歌。2008年移居中国，现居于上海。2014-2015曾旅居马来西亚。卡茨先生一直从事人文学科教学，深谙AP世界历史、AP美国历史、AP欧洲历史，以及KS-3、IGCSE和A-level历史和地理课程内容。

Outside of class, he is an avid weightlifter, lover of fine art, a trained cook/chef, and an avid fan of Baseball (New York Mets), American Football (Buffalo Bills), and Hockey (Buffalo Sabres). He plans on starting his PhD at Shanghai University in the next two years.

卡茨先生还是出色的举重运动员、优越的美术爱好者、训练有素的厨师。是纽约大都会队(棒球队)、布法罗比尔队(足球队)和布法罗马刀队(曲棍球)的狂热粉丝。卡茨先生计划在未来两年在上海大学攻读博士学位。

He has written fifteen full length screenplays, two TV pilots, two hundred fully composed songs, and four short scripts, all while tailoring his work for both the Asian and Western markets. He was worked with producers and directors both in China and the United States.

卡茨先生同时还是一位非凡的编剧。他编写了十五部电影剧本、两部电视剧本、二百首歌曲、四部短剧，他与中国、美国的制片人和导演都合作过，同时为亚洲和西方市场创造作品。
